Once minds are made up, they become difficult to change. As a parent, it may not be the easiest job in the world to convince your teenage son or daughter that they will not look beautiful forever, and they need to be mindful of their skin care even at a young age.
From Dimples to Pimples
Since teenagers are more prone to the presence of acne as a skin condition than everyone else, it would seem intuitive that they would have skin care foremost on their minds, but some still do not. Going to the beach and getting the darkest tan possible have been rites of passage for past generations – people who are now dealing with skin cancer, blotchiness, wrinkles and other problems that come with too much UV exposure.
Keeping It Cleaner Than Your Room
If acne is indeed the issue, there are remedies galore either on the shelves or over the counter at your local drug store. Telling teenagers to clean their skin gently but thoroughly, not to pick at their unsightly pimples, and to use – but not abuse – the right cosmetics may well net you only a rolling of the eyes. But if you keep pouring on the good advice, you can at least hope that it might sink in, like (you’d also hope) sun block.
If they can keep their pores clean, they’ll be fine, socially speaking. If you can’t keep your hands off the wheel, then encourage them to use – Read: buy them – oil-free moisturizers. Teenagers might not appreciate all, or even many, of the things you do for them but if you can get them into the habit of taking good care of their skin, they’ll not only be grateful for a lifetime, they’ll also look great in the family pictures… And when they come over to do laundry.
If you keep up with your skin now you’ll look 20 years younger when your older.

Heels or No Heels?
Shoes are very important accessory for your outfit. Wearing high heels is one of the most common shoes worn out on the town. Now, wearing heels is great and everything, but your feet will pay the price either that night or the next day. And we all have had a very bad experience with wearing the wrong shoe too long. The next day he your feet hurt so bad you can barely walk, and they are very tender even putting on a simple tennis shoe hurts. So word to the wise if you decide to wear high heels in a casino, be sure you have worn them before, and your feet can handle them.

Wearing jeans to casino is okay as long as you have accessorize your outfit. Jeans with a very flashy top might be an option, or jeans with a flashy top and some really cool looking boots is very hot. You can also wear dress to casino. Dresses can be short and tight, or long and flowing. When you wear a dress, you can almost wear any shoes you want. Dresses for flatter you, and wearing the perfect shoe will make you a perfect 10. However always make sure you are comfortable. Playing blackjack at a very competitive table, can be tiring. So you don’t want to wear something that is going to be bothering you. If you are bothered, you might lose focus on the game. In which that means, you might end up losing some money. History of Bridal Showers

As the story goes, there was a young Dutch girl who fell in love with a Dutch miller. He was poor, however, because he would always give his money to the more needy. When the young Dutch girl told her father that she wanted to marry the miller he disapproved and refused to offer a dowry. The townspeople did approve, though, and each brought a gift to help the young couple start their married lives. With such displays of generosity, the father was won over and so the bridal shower tradition began.
Europe
The dowry (the money and/or possessions a woman takes to her husband in marriage) started its tradition in the 16th and 17th century in the Netherlands. It is believed that when the bride’s family didn’t have enough money to provide a dowry or if the family refused to provide one, friends of the bride would send presents to compensate. The custom doesn’t exist in the United Kingdom, however. The bridal registry is the only occasion where guests are asked to bring gifts to the couple. In the United States, it’s customary to participate in both the bridal registry and the bridal shower.
United States
The hope chest tradition (the collection of items by unmarried women) seems to have developed from the dowry custom in the United States in the late 1800s. By the early twentieth century, both upper and rural class Americans were participating in the activity which quickly expanded to include food, favor and bridal shower games. It is believed the term ‘shower’ came from Victorian times when presents where collected in parasols or umbrellas.
The contemporary bridal shower seems to have developed from many earlier marriage practices seen throughout Europe. The United States, Australia and Canada are currently the three largest countries who participate in this tradition which developed around the late 1800s.
